Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Skilled Hardscaper/Stone Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both hardscaping/ landscaping and masonry, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement designs, construct, and install various landscape features including patios, pool decks, walkways, armour stone, and retaining walls.
- Perform all aspects of landscaping, including site preparation, surveying, leveling, and setting grades and elevations.
Utilize landscaping skills to build and install a variety of residential landscape designs. - Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment including skid-steers, mini-excavators, grinders and cut off saws, water saws, and masonry tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Collaborate with the owner, clients, and designers to understand their needs and provide creative and practical solutions. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Concrete finishing skills are a plus.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Landscape construction.
- A portfolio of high quality work including masonry wet lay of natural stone pavers and walls.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques and hardscape skills.
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and hardscape tools safely and efficiently.
